March Adventures: From Ranch Life to Snowy Peaks

Farm animals – We recently went to visit my cousins at their ranch in Reno, Nevada. The Cunrod Ranch is home to Wagyu cattle, goats, chickens and Australian shepherds. Jake and I had so much fun catching up with family, doing farm chores and hanging with the animals. 

Snowmobile/Skiing – March was an adventurous month! We spent time in South Lake Tahoe for a skiing trip. We went to Heavenly & Kirkwood Mountain resorts. Great conditions and great weather for skiing and snowboarding. We took a day off and rented snowmobiles to go through the Tamarack Mountain range. Such a fun time with friends and family!

Others enjoy Easter traditions like egg hunts, decorating eggs, and festive meals. The Easter egg, a symbol of new life, adds excitement as children search for hidden treasures.

April is filled with seasonal festivities beyond Easter. Cherry blossom festivals in Japan, European spring celebrations, and the return of farmers’ markets highlight the joy of the season. Easter meals feature favorites like roast lamb, hot cross buns, and chocolate treats, bringing families together in celebration.

Spring and Easter encourage us to embrace growth and gratitude. Whether through spiritual reflection, festive traditions, or simply enjoying nature, April is a time to refresh, recharge, and welcome new opportunities with optimism.
